TIPS TO A SUCCESSFUL CAREER (Part 1)

Image
Often times, a lot of people find it hard to cope with and manage the career path they have chosen. Luck sometimes may be against some while for others, it's due to doing a bad (poor) homework. While choosing your career path, lots of things need to be taken into consideration and some of them are outlined below. 1. Identify with Your Goals.  Before even considering following a career route, you must get to know yourself. A big majority of people go through life by following a well-established pattern. The sad part is, they don't even like what they do or they just don't really realize how many other things they could do. In order to avoid this awful happening, you need to identify what are your biggest rational wishes. Then, start going deeper and make an in-depth introspection in which you should think about the connection between your inner desires and your rational goals. They have to match. KEY TO CONTENTMENT

Image
S ometimes, it seems as if things are not working in our favour. Seeing others swiftly making headway in their various endeavours when things seems to be lagging on our end, we tend to get jealous of them and sometimes write ourselves off. It is part of human nature to think and assume luck is not on our side when things seem not to be working out as we planned it to be.  Little did we know that everyone has their timings in life.  Do you even take time to think about the things you have that others don’t have? Do you take time to think of things you have achieved that others are still struggling with? Do you take time out to think about the great feats you have attained that others are lobbying for? Instead of getting jealous of others, why not intensify more efforts in the things you are finding hard to achieve. Why not put in the whole of your best in actualizing your dreams. Why not seek for the assistance of those you know can be of help to you. Why not show gratitude to ...

Do you have conscience?

Gone are the days when we value the lives of others. Gone are the days when we treat others the way we treat ourselves. Gone are the days when we show human feelings to others. Nowadays, we care less about the downfall of others as long as we are enriching ourselves. We show no pity to those who are down and suffering as long as we are living comfortably. We do not bother about the wellbeing of others in as much as we are not bothered. Where's our sanity? Where's our human feeling? Where have we thrown our conscience? We are here on earth to look out for each other. Why then do we live our lives like we don't care? Why do we turn deaf ears towards the cry of help by others? Why do we pretend not to see the pains and afflictions of others? The wellbeing of others should be our concern. One way or the other, we are in this together. An help rendered to others in turn add values to our lives. Share happiness always.

KEEP LEARNING

Children learn how to walk in phases. First they discover their toes, gripping and pointing and kicking. Then come a few unsuccessful crawls as they test out the strength of each foot, realizing that a knee is better suited for the task. Finally they stand a few times, gaining confidence that earns some video-worthy spills. Dozens of falls later, and they’re still at it, figuring out the best way to start and how to stop themselves when the head’s momentum outpaces the legs’ ability. Eventually they succeed, surrounded by smiling and cheering adults. Now it’s time to run. We are born with an innate desire to learn new concepts, not just the ones expected of human development, but those that bring us happiness, satiate our curiosity and even those which have no measurable benefit at all. But somewhere along the way, we stop learning more than is required of us. Maybe friends said it wasn’t cool to study; or a counselor saw some test scores and said that math isn’t really ou...
