MAKE IT PLAIN
…Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (Habakkuk 2:2).
A lot comes with the New Year when people decide on their respective New Year resolutions and all. Looking back at what they were unable to achieve in the past year(s) and what their mates are achieving that they’ve not been able to achieve, it tends to make one nervous and thereby causing fear and anxiety to set in.
New years are not just for the fun of it, or just to count the numbers of years you have witnessed on earth but a time to reflect on the past and make plans for the future on how you can further impact your world. Setting visions and plans for the New Year is much more important than engaging in the New Year jamboree. However, plans are not to be made without running through them till the year runs to an end.
The word of the Lord in the book of Habakkuk 2:2 weren’t just for the books but it states how much importance God places on putting your plans and aspirations into writing. Truth be told, plans documented are easily executed than those not in writing.
The most important part of actualizing a plan is having a vision and putting them into writing, …write the vision. You can’t achieve much if you don’t have a vision (plan) to run with and that is why it is very important to have not just visions but clear visions and that is why the Bible said …and make it plain, only clear and achievable visions can be actualized. The eagerness to achieve something worthwhile should not make you make plans that are not achievable, rather the plans should be plain and clear.
…that he may run that readeth it, is actually talking about the next step to actualizing the plans which is constant meditation and follow up of the already written plans (visions). Plans are not just to be made and discarded or placed on autopilot to be actualized, constant follow up should be done on them if they will really run and not be stagnant.
Only plainly written plans that are followed up can be actualized and brought to fruition.
Write you visions for the coming year, make it plain and clear, meditate and constantly follow them up and see how much you can achieve with the help of God.
